The Agribusiness e-Academy, organised by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) through its Agri-Business Facility for Africa and the MOVE-ComCashew project, is now open for Window 2 submissions. Participants who complete the free learning pathway and submit a viable AgriCanvas stand a chance to win €2,000 in funding, a tablet or laptop, or dedicated mentoring support.
The Learning Pathway
Participants must complete three free mandatory courses on the atingi platform before submitting:
- Business Model Canvas for Agribusinesses — Understand costs, margins, pricing, and business structure
- Climate-Smart Agribusiness: Adaptation — Learn how climate risks affect value chains and how to manage them
- Creating an Investment-Ready Agribusiness — Assess viability, test profitability, and prepare to pitch to investors
After completing all three courses, participants build and submit their AgriCanvas — a Business Model Canvas tailored to their specific agribusiness idea.
Who Can Apply:
- Individuals aged 18 and above
- Based in an OACPS member state
- Working on agribusiness ideas related to cocoa, maize, cashew, or livestock (cattle, sheep, or goats)
