Applications are open for the 16th edition of the Orange Social Ventures Prize in Africa and the Middle East (OSVP), a flagship competition supporting entrepreneurs building innovative, high-impact solutions across the region.

Launched by Orange, the prize has become a key platform for early-stage and growth-stage startups, with over 17,600 applications received since its inception, helping to identify and scale ventures addressing critical social and environmental challenges.

The 2026 edition is particularly focused on startups leveraging emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cybersecurity to deliver sustainable solutions.

Programme Focus

The competition targets ventures operating in sectors with strong development impact, including: Agriculture, Education, Health, and Environment.

Startups using technology to address systemic challenges and improve livelihoods across Africa and the Middle East are strongly encouraged to apply.
