Applications are open for the PSES 2026 Scholarship, supporting African social innovators who may otherwise be unable to attend the Pan-African Social Enterprise Summit 2026 in Kampala, Uganda.
The summit, organised by the Federation of Uganda Social Enterprises (FUSE), will take place from November 19–20, 2026, bringing together social entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, development partners and ecosystem builders from across Africa.
What the Scholarship Covers
Selected applicants will receive:
- Full PSES 2026 registration
- Access to both days of the summit
- Meals during the summit
Regular participant registration costs US$150, making the scholarship particularly relevant to early-stage and resource-constrained social innovators. However, recipients must arrange and finance their own flights, accommodation and ground transportation.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open only to individuals based in Africa.
Priority will be given to:
- Social innovators and emerging social entrepreneurs
- Representatives of rural social enterprises
- Individuals from underrepresented communities
Applicants must demonstrate genuine financial need and a commitment to social entrepreneurship that contributes to Africa’s social and economic development. The application also asks candidates to describe their enterprise or innovation, explain the problem it addresses, provide evidence of their work and explain why they need the scholarship.

PSES 2026 will explore issues including financing social enterprises, regional integration, youth and women’s economic participation, agriculture, sustainability, policy and access to global markets. The summit also aims to strengthen collaboration and investment across Africa’s social enterprise ecosystem.
