Miriam Ademun is an inclusive development specialist and social impact leader with over 10 years of experience advancing Program management, gender equality, disability inclusion, and youth empowerment across Uganda. She has led transformative programs in education, livelihoods, and safeguarding, with a strong focus on addressing the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities particularly women, youth, girls, and persons with disabilities. Through her leadership, Miriam has designed and implemented high-impact inclusive interventions that bridge access gaps and promote long term social inclusion.

Miriam has spearheaded initiatives such as Work readiness training for youth, economic empowerment initiatives for women, national level inclusive education programs, livelihood and employability projects that connect marginalized youth with meaningful job opportunities. Her influence has shaped policy and practice contributing to the adoption of inclusive teaching models and informing the integration of gender and disability considerations into national frameworks.

With a background in Environmental Management and an MBA, along with certifications in safeguarding, DEI, and project management, Miriam blends technical expertise with lived insight and community engagement. Her work is grounded in participatory, intersectional approaches that amplify voices often left out of mainstream development.
