Applications are open for the 4th edition of the AFRISE Challenge, a startup accelerator organised by Hindsight Ventures in partnership with Concordia University. The programme supports young African founders developing scalable solutions to real market problems across multiple sectors.

About the AFRISE Challenge

Selected founders join a four-week virtual venture development bootcamp focused on strengthening business models and preparing startups for investment readiness. Participants receive mentorship from founders, industry experts and investors, followed by an international demo day where top startups pitch to early-stage funders and entrepreneurship support organisations.

The programme focuses on startups solving large-scale challenges in areas such as financial services, healthcare, agriculture, energy, education, environment, telecommunications and creative industries.

Participating countries: Nigeria, Uganda, Morocco, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • Be aged 18–35
