The Youth4Climate Call for Solutions is a global innovation challenge open to youth and youth-led organisations across 158 countries and territories supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The programme supports both new and existing climate solutions that are ready for implementation or scaling. Selected projects can run for up to 24 months.

Applicants must align their projects with one of the following focus areas:
- Sustainable Energy
- Food and Agriculture
- Climate, Peace and Security
- Oceans and Blue Economy
- Sustainable Fashion and Textiles
- Architecture for Adaptation
Programme Benefits
Participants selected for the programme receive a combination of financial support, capacity building, and global exposure:
- Funding: Youth4Climate provides direct financial support of up to $30,000 to youth-led innovative climate projects.
- Knowledge: Participants gain access to tailored training, mentorship, and capacity-building support to strengthen their solutions.
- Networks: Youth4Climate connects participants to a global network of young leaders, policymakers, and partners, offering opportunities for collaboration and visibility.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be aged 18–29, or part of a youth-led organisation
- Organisations must be legally registered with leadership primarily aged 18–29
- The project must be implemented in an eligible country under the programme
- The project lead must be a national of an eligible country
