Uganda’s innovation ecosystem has a flagship moment — and it is bigger than anything the country has seen before. Uganda Innovation Week 2026, organised by Startup Uganda, the national association of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Organisations (ESOs), brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, corporates, development partners, academia, and the media for five days of programming in Kampala. The 2026 edition targets over 3,000 attendees — nearly double the 2023 attendance — and introduces a format where each day carries a distinct identity, energy, and target audience.
About Uganda Innovation Week
Uganda Innovation Week is the country’s largest annual gathering of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, serving as the flagship platform for collaboration, investment, policy dialogue, knowledge sharing, and innovation showcase. Organised by Startup Uganda, the national association of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Organisations, UIW brings together the people and organisations shaping Uganda’s innovation ecosystem and creates direct opportunities for startups to connect with partners, customers, investors, and government.
