Aspiring entrepreneurs, students, graduates and early-stage startup founders across Africa can apply for the UNDP UniPod Ignite Entrepreneurship – Idea to Venture Bootcamp 2026, a free four-week online programme designed to help participants validate business ideas and build market-ready ventures.
Delivered by United Nations Development Programme Africa UniPods in partnership with the Wadhwani Foundation, the bootcamp combines live online sessions, practical assignments and venture-building tools to help participants test ideas, understand customers and develop sustainable business models.
About the Programme
The Ignite Idea to Venture Bootcamp is an intensive entrepreneurship programme for individuals and teams with early-stage business ideas.
Over four weeks, participants will work on their own ventures while learning practical methods for identifying opportunities, validating customer demand, refining business models and preparing for market entry.
Programme Structure
The four-week online programme includes:
- Two live Microsoft Teams sessions each week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- One-hour live sessions held from 4:00–5:00 p.m.
- One to two hours of guided independent learning and practical activities each week
- Hands-on exercises focused on developing participants’ own business ideas
Each team member working on the same startup idea must register individually.
